What To Do For Installing Laminate Flooring
Most folks think that installing laminate flooring is so simple that a child could do it, but that might be over simplifying the process. While it's true that it is simple to set up this kind of flooring, especially the wood floor installation. It based on the size and layout of the floor on which the flooring is to be installed, it could be tricky to fit the proper pieces into place. When installing laminate flooring, the type of connection between the pieces will also decide just how difficult the project will be.

Insuring Suitable Alignment of Floor Board Seams
Usually, when installing laminate flooring, the longest wall becomes the place to start. The first row of flooring material is put into place to make sure that it is straight before starting the second row. A lot of people will trim the length of the board at least six-inches to ensure that the seams are staggered when setting up laminate flooring, giving a stronger floor.
Placing the board of the second row at a slight angle to the tongue on the first row, if utilizing tongue and groove laminate flooring, makes it easier to roll the second board into place. When installing laminate flooring, the boards usually snap together easily but in some instances a light tap with a rubber mallet can help seat the joint. When using laminate floor, the use of a small piece of wood as a cushion between the mallet and the flooring material will prevent damage to the joint.
After installing laminate flooring is complete, the trim could be cut and put into place, keeping the bottom of the trim tight to the floor. When installing laminate flooring over concrete, a layer of waterproof plastic may be needed to avoid the floor from absorbing moisture from the subfloor.

It is possible for it to harm the photogragh. There are many factors to take in on this. Some photo's have large amounts of dark color - this will cause the lamination to have bubbles (if you are using a heat laminator and not a cold laminator). Sometimes if the heat is turned up too high, this will cause the photo to bubble and will in fact ruin the picture. I have seen tho some roll laminators (that have "soft lamination") that can handle photos. Soft lamination is often used in schools - teachers can roll things that have been lamiated with soft lamination - it is usually a 3 to 5 mil in weight.
The best bet is to use cold lamination on photographs - if that is not an option - then check with the manual or check the manufacturers web site.
